review week 17

After reading the "Who Shot the Serif?" article, I have learned that typefaces are used around the world and they are used in different ways. The article lists and talks many different types of serifs and I didn't know that their were so many and how each one of them is slightly different. I also learned that different typefaces are used for different topics and meaning according to what it is being used for.

semester reflection

This semester I have a lot about computers in design class. In Illustrator I learned how to create and change lines, how to trace objects, how to create colors and use them, and how to use words to create a picture. In Photoshop I learned how to combine pictures, how to create a image using many other picture, how to work with color and color schemes, and how to add things into pictures to make it look like it is there. I also learned how to use the principles and elements of design into my assignments. Next semester I hope I will get to work with Photoshop more because it is a good thing to know how to use at home and for other pictures.
